Gail Martin spent early adulthood in Tsawwassen and has lived in North Delta since 1973 where she raised her now adult children. Having worked for 24 years at Telus, she retired in 2002. Among her many contributions to the Delta Community are Conquer Cancer canvasser, school Parents Advisory group and Sur-Del Scouts Canada, among others. She has also served as a member of the Delta Family Court Committee, Delta Community Services Advisory Committee, Delta Area Planning Committee, Delta Police Board, Delta Police Foundation, BC Labour Relations Board, and most recently, BGC of South Coast BC. She has also been a member of the Finance Committee at Crossroads United Church where she has provided congregational outreach during the pandemic.
