What is the Community Prosperity Fund?

The Community Prosperity Fund (CPF) is a multi-year program investing $25 million into community organizations in British Columbia that are focused on poverty reduction and social inclusion. The CPF is one of four funding streams under the Stronger Community Services Fund – a broader $60 million commitment from the BC Government to invest in the nonprofit sector.

The Community Prosperity Fund initiative was established to provide financial support to non-profits and community groups that are making significant strides in areas such as education, health, arts & culture, food security, accessibility, seniors, children & youth.

We congratulate the following charities in receiving Community Prosperity grants. We received over $1.8M in funding applications with $505k available to distribute. They are well-aligned with anticipated future needs and are leading in addressing these challenges.
