"This program has been a cornerstone of our efforts to assist underprivileged families in furnishing their homes. Thanks to this grant from the Delta Community Foundation, which will be used to cover furniture storage and operational costs, we can continue providing critical support to those in need. We have recently supported families in collaboration with the Elizabeth Fry Society, Surrey Women’s Centre, and the South Asian Community Hub, assisting them in creating more comfortable and stable living environments. The Delta Community Foundation’s contribution will make a significant impact, and we are deeply appreciative."

 “Reach Society applied for funding from the Community Prosperity Fund (CPF) grant through the Delta Community Foundation to support Delta Housing Be Mine Society's mission to help local adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities seeking affordable and inclusive housing in Delta. Many of the young people seeking inclusive housing through Delta Housing Be Mine Society (DHBMS) are graduates of Reach Society programs and services. The funding will allow DHBMS to contract a program coordinator who will assist in communications and events that help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities be independent and thrive.”
