Croquet, community and a $26,000 Impact
The Delta Community Foundation’s fundraiser on Aug. 20 at Kirkland Gardens in Ladner brought the community together for a sunny afternoon of fun, food, friendship and light competition, all in support of local charities.
The event raised an impressive $26,000, which will help provide ongoing support to charities and community programs serving people across Delta.
The afternoon provided an opportunity for community members, businesses, local charities and supporters of the Foundation to come together while enjoying a friendly game of croquet.
