NSG Project: Collings Annual Block Party

Thank you again so much for contributing – our neighbours were so appreciative that we were able to add some additional elements for our block party this year.
My project is a community neighbourhood engagement event, providing an opportunity to bring the whole neighbourhood together socially. Past neighbours who grew up in the neighbourhood, whose parents still live here, also join this annual event, that has taken place for more than 15 years.
Entertainment provided for children by way of informative fire and helmet safety. Other activities include juggling, face painting and water play.
This is a perfect opportunity for intergenerational interaction and for the younger generation to learn the history of McAdam Creek and surrounding area.”
